New York, NY — July 2024 — Wunderkind, the AI-powered performance marketing platform, today announced the expansion of its executive leadership team to accelerate adoption and deepen integrations with its 700 brand clients such as Uniqlo, CaseMate, Clarks, and Omni Hotels.
To further optimize revenue impact and strategic alignment across its customer base, Wunderkind has appointed Jay Sarwar as Chief Customer Officer. In this role, Sarwar will oversee the evolution of Wunderkind’s customer success strategy, as the company continues to expand its platform functionality to advance AI-powered channel orchestration, performance analytics and identity resolution techniques. Sarwar brings a wealth of experience to the role, having led Client Success, Account Management, and Services divisions at Monetate and Cheetah Digital, where he and his teams worked with a portfolio of leading Fortune 500 companies in the Retail, Travel, Media, and Financial Services industries.
“I have a ton of respect and admiration for what’s been built here at Wunderkind, and I feel incredibly fortunate to join as we are on the verge of integrating some incredibly powerful technology into our solution,” said Sarwar. “Unlike some competitors, Wunderkind has avoided significant past missteps in its product strategy and has an exceptionally clear, detailed vision for the platform. I think Wunderkind is uniquely suited to revolutionize the Martech universe, and I’m excited to help our clients leverage the power of our technology, alongside our world-class talent, to drive revenue and achieve strategic goals at large.”
Wunderkind has also hired Mag Goossens as SVP of Human Resources and People. In this role, Goossens will be responsible for developing and implementing strategic HR policies, fostering a positive workplace culture, ensuring compliance with relevant laws, and promoting diversity and inclusion.
Goossens brings extensive global HR experience, having successfully led initiatives in talent management, employee engagement, and organizational development most recently at MRC. Previously, Mag led People functions at Dstillery, IPG, Viacom, and AOL.
“Wunderkind has cultivated an incredible team that is a driving force of innovation for the entire martech industry,” said Goossens. “I’m excited to join the team and drive further growth by recruiting, retaining, and empowering the best talent in the space to thrive here at Wunderkind, which will optimize the service and results we can deliver for our clients.”
This announcement comes on the heels of Wunderkind launching its Autonomous Marketing Platform, which provides marketers with an end-to-end infrastructure for delivering more personalized, engaging customer experiences across owned channels. At a time when marketers are preparing for third-party cookie deprecation, the platform is powered by the Wunderkind Identity Network, a proprietary Identity graph which recognizes over 9 billion consumer devices, 1 billion opted-in consumer profiles and observes 2 trillion events per year.
“Wunderkind provides marketers the tools to achieve measurable results using robust data and AI capabilities, which ultimately allows us to deliver personalized, real-time brand experiences that enhance customer engagement and performance,” said Bill Ingram, CEO at Wunderkind. “These additions to our executive leadership team will allow us to further our vision by ensuring clear ownership of client value and retention, centralize responsibility for people and culture, and scale our value as we continue to drive undeniable growth for our growing client roster.”
